PCCY's annual fundraising event was an overwhelming success! With 425 adults and over 80 children in attendance fun was had by all. We raised over $36,000 for PCCY's programs - a record amount! Kids — and adults too — got to ride on the historic and newly refurbished Woodside Park Carousel (check out the picture link above). Governor Rendell was on hand to accept the 2009 Wilbur Hobbs True Friend of Children Award along with Jolley Bruce Christman, Co-Founder of Research for Action. Shawn Lacy, Executive Director of Family Support Services and Philip Beauchemin, Coach of the Overbook High School Mock Trial Team, were the recipients of the 2009 Lucy Sayre Community Spirit Founders Award
