PCCY - Public Citizens for Children and Youth

There are many different ways that you can volunteer sometime to PCCY. For example, attending a rally at City Hall on a specific issue; joining a bus trip to Harrisburg to visit their state senator or representative; going to city council and visiting your councilperson (PCCY will provide the background on the issue and if it is something you are passionate about - personal visits to legislators make a big difference). We also ask people to sign up to make phone calls or write letters once or twice a month to their legislators and do it from the comfort of their own home. We also have opportunities for people to monitor juvenile court cases at family court. We even have the traditional volunteer work of stuffing envelopes for our yearly fundraiser and light administrative work like answering telephones and routing calls in the office to data entry and filing.
